Adult Bible Study: The Book of Acts (Tuesday Evenings)
What: Fellowship and a continuation of the study of the Book of Acts.
When: Classes will be held until February 7. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. and the class is from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Where: The Redeemer Center
Who: You
Why: Acts is the earliest record of the founding of the Christian church after Jesus' resurrection. Many of the issues of that time are still relevant to the life and mission of the church today. We talk about being a bold witness for Christ in an often hostile world, prayer, worship, church discipline, evangelism, reaching the lost, caring for the poor, our eternal hope and many other topics.

March 4, 11, 18, and 25.

Lent is forty days. We put ashes on our faces. We fast. Palm Sunday. Holy Week. Come to this class to learn more about the meaning of the practices of Lent. Your worship life will be enriched.
Adult Bible Study: The World of the Apostles
Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. February 5, 12, 19 and 26. - Lead by Bruce Hasher
The book of Acts describes Paul's missionary journeys and the exciting first years of Christianity's spread into the Roman Empire. This class will be based on the moving and visually engaging archeology-based faith lessons from the Ray Vander Laan "That the World May Know" series. Each week is a self-contained lesson with a 20 min. video shot at archeological sites and other supportive materials. In today's challenging world there is much that we can learn from the early Church's history. One lesson will look at the challenge to early Christians – "Who is Lord? Caesar or Jesus?" Another is the touching story of Paul encountering young Timothy at Lystra and coming back later to engage him as his key missionary associate.
